#8 Don’t be Overworked

This is something that you will likely never get told, but being overworked is not a good look when you join a new team. Being overworked may show you as being willing and eager. However, if you have too much work then you will likely be stressed and rushed, and this does not actually show good time management skills! So, if you want to do well in your new job, do it right and take on a suitable about of work, and if someone asks to you to do more than you are capable of, don’t be afraid of telling them that you cannot do it; this will show you are professional and serious in the long run and will help your career!
