#10 — Have a routine

This is arguably one of the most important top tips for working from home on this list. When you go into work in a normal office environment, you will have some sort of routine that you follow. However, when working from home, you won’t necessarily need to follow a routine in the same way—and this can be detrimental for your working efforts. Routines help to get you in the right mindset, so don’t try to work from home without first coming up with a routine for your working day (and then stick to it!)
